AD/Director, Sales Training is responsible for developing and leading a comprehensive sales training program in preparation for the launch of Sacituzumab Govitecan. This role is responsible for the development and delivery of product and clinical training curriculum and assessments as well as confirming Oncology Account Managers and Regional Business Directors are effectively trained on relevant selling skills that reflect the needs in the current market environment. This individual will work closely with product teams to develop and execute a sales training strategy that promotes brand and company goals. As an in-house expert on training and adult-learning, this person will provide guidance throughout the product lifecycle: pre-launch activities, onboarding, marketing launch plans, strategic/tactical launch plan execution, and followed by ongoing continuing education programs. The successful candidate will contribute in-depth sales & training expertise, work closely with internal stakeholders up to senior levels and external partners (including creative agencies), with the capacity to develop a budget/resourcing plan to support the needs of the business. • Develop training programs with a focus on advanced product/clinical skills training, continuous product/clinical training & assessments, product certification requirements, and selling skills
• Develop and maintain ownership of KPI tracking/reporting progress on the implementation of the product/clinical training strategy and curriculum
• Ensure sales teams maintain annual product certification on brands, and partner with business partners to ensure all field associates are properly trained and certified on promoted products as deployed.
• Ensure all materials (live, online, testing, etc) are approved and compliant consistent with Immunomedics policies
• Ensure quality delivery of training by partnering with marketing, sales, MDs and MSLs to develop and pull through the training strategy in the field using a variety of tactics (live and virtual facilitation, train the trainers, peer-based teaching, etc) and technologies
• Responds to changes in brand labeling, sales campaigns and materials, competitor activity and market events to provide continued reinforcement of product training.
• Lead development of District Planning or National Sales Meeting presentations / resources and execute in conjunction with the Brand teams


• Bachelor's degree required
• MBA or Graduate level degree preferred
• 5-10 years of progressive experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry in Marketing, Market Access, Sales, or Business Development, preferably in both small and large companies
• Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical sales specifically, with at least 3 years of recent in-depth experience in Oncology/Breast Cancer
• Outstanding business acumen, leadership, business case development, and budget management skills; demonstrated ability to drive profits and maximize ROI
• Deep understanding of adult learning with proven ability to develop and execute a best-in-class sales training program
• Possess existing strong relationships and positive reputation with sales training vendors and agencies, with a track record of successfully leveraging agencies to maximize efficiency and brand performance
• Leads by example, displaying integrity, collaboration, accessibility, adaptability, sound judgment/decision making, and an entrepreneurial, solutions-oriented attitude
• Demonstrates responsiveness, attention to detail, and follow-through coupled with ability to prioritize/multi-task effectively
• Use analytical/strategic skills to synthesize complex information, distill critical insights to inform commercial assessments, and translate to tactical level
• Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
• Highly proficient in MS Office; skilled at using Excel to develop pharmaceutical product forecast models and quantitative analyses
• Working knowledge and understanding of the Pharma industry, broad therapeutic areas/disease states, drugs/treatments, and related regulatory, commercialization and compliance requirements
