This position will be responsible for annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, month-end close and analysis for the Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain areas of the business.  Regular reporting and analysis of results to be provided to both the Finance team and the Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain leadership.  Additional ad hoc finance support and analysis will also be required.


• Support the Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain leadership with development of P&L and relevant Balance Sheet budgets and forecasts for departments and projects.
• Consolidate and report monthly budget and/or forecast vs. actual for Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain business areas and provide meaningful insights to the business and finance management.
• Track spending, purchase orders and commitments to ensure spending controls.
• Work closely with the accounting team to support the monthly close process, which may include preparing journal entries for accruals, reclassifications, etc.
• Evaluate cash burn for areas of responsibility.
• Assist with policy and process creation to enhance the financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting process.
• Monitor capital expenditures and classify as needed.
• Build strong reporting relationships with business partners to improve communication and understanding of the business.
• Guide business partners to assist in making sound financial decisions.
• Assist with the overall achievement of the company’s financial targets.
• Analyze and interpret financial data; transfer that data into meaningful and focused information; report to drive performance results and action.
• Prepare ad hoc analysis as needed.


  • Minimum B.S. / B.A. in accounting or finance; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in financial role, including financial planning and P&L reporting.
  • FP&A experience with a focus on manufacturing (e.g. Cost of Sales, Inventory) preferred.
  • Prior pharmaceutical/biotech experience a plus.
  • Experience with Cost Accounting a plus. 
  • Detail oriented; strong interpersonal communication skills in conjunction with the ability to interact with all levels in the organization are a must.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, including charting and custom views/formatting.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity and communication skills are required.
  • Strong financial systems experience.
