  • Overview

    The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for all maintenance activities of the facilities, utilities and equipment required to allow Immunomedics to operate effectively. 


    • Inspects plant and evaluates use of space and facilities and makes recommendations as necessary.
    • Responsible for maintenance of the HVAC systems, boilers, water, air, electric and other systems/utilities. Makes recommendations for upgrades as warranted.
    • Monitors the Preventive Maintenance program and ensures adherence to schedules and proper documentation of execution in Blue Mountain.
    • Maintains spare parts inventory and spare parts storage. Maintains adequate inventory of critical spares and disposables utilized by the Maintenance team.
    • Insures compliance to the Work Order process and with procedures. Ensures proper documentation on the WO form and in the WO logbook.
    • Supervises maintenance personnel and contract workers engaged in equipment installation, equipment repair, and preventive maintenance.
    • Follows and ensures adherence to all SOPs and safety rules, including use of personal protective equipment.
    • Carries out direct supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the departmental objectives.  Responsibilities include interviewing and onboarding; employee training and development; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining; corrective action and complaint resolution.


    • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related field, or Associate’s Degree in technical field with 5 years of related work experience, or high school education with apprenticeship, or coursework in skilled trades and at least 10 years of relevant work experience in building maintenance.
    • Strong knowledge of engineering concepts including mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
    • Experience with water purification systems is highly valued. 
    • Familiarity with cGMP operations and working in an FDA regulated environment.
    • Additional relevant licenses and certifications will be a plus.
    • Familiarity with drawings and schematics a must. 
    • Proven ability to multi-task with attention to detail, working independently as well as within a group.
    • Ability to interface with a variety of customers (internal and external) as well as vendors and contractors.
    • Ability to solve issues that may arise within the facility and provide solutions that can eliminate or correct the issue as soon as possible.
