    Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, the Director of Human Resources will play a critical role in the organizational growth and development of Immunomedics’ Research and Development organization, a growing and developing R&D organization. The Director’s primary responsibility is to provide organizational level HR leadership, direction, and operational management to drive the strategic and operational execution of a world class HR function in alignment with the needs of the business. 


    • Works with R&D leaders to understand core capabilities needed to drive business results, and translate into actionable developmental programs for teams.
    • Provides ongoing support to business leaders by serving as a partner in both business and people related matters.
    • Utilize high level of consulting skills to influence, coach, and provide feedback to employees at all levels.
    • Partners with R&D leadership to build and maintain a culture that is consistent with Immunomedics values, drives performance, and attracts and retains top talent
    • Play a key role in designing, training, and implementing performance management within the organization.
    • Works with the R&D Leadership Team to design and implement leadership and management development training programs, and succession planning.
    • Develops and implements programs for improvement of organization’s talent practices, policies and procedures on employment matters.
    • Operates with an action-oriented approach knowing how to measure the results of various HR programs and responding to the dynamic needs of the team.
    • Functions as the expert on organizational issues and serve as a trusted advisor and business partner to leadership team.
    • Supports HR function initiatives and projects on an ad hoc or as needed basis. 


    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management (or related field) is required. Graduate degree highly preferred.
    • Minimum 10 years of progressive human resources business partner experience, including organizational effectiveness/change management, learning and development, and talent management.
    • Experience supporting and playing role as business partner for a biotech or pharmaceutical Research or Development organization required.
    • Proven experience in the development and implementation of HR initiatives is required.

    • Proven customer-centric focus: ability to influence culture and create alignment between business goals, behaviors, and compensation systems that drive performance.
    • Strong consultative style with proven experience supporting all levels of employees and management.
    • Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
    • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy and conciseness.
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
