This position will work closely with the head of business development and portfolio strategy on due diligence, financial valuation, strategy development, and deal negotiation and execution for potential industry and academic collaborations. This position will be responsible for monitoring and in-depth research and keeping a database of the competitive landscape, and provide insights and suggestions for key decision making. This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining long range forecast and corporate valuation model, through partnering with commercial, R&D, and finance. This is a high exposure position with access to senior management and has significant growth potential.
Help create and maintain a deal book for all potential industry and academic collaborations.
Help with research and evaluation of potential partners on the financial capacities, development strategies, execution competences, as well as commercial capabilities.
Participate in drafting and negotiating deal terms with all potential partners.
Working closely with business partners to ensure timely and smooth communications between the Company and all partners. Flag important data points to ensure quick decision making.
Design and conduct market research, business intelligence, competitive intelligence, and conference coverage for relevant disease areas and potential competitors. Provide regular update to management on industry dynamics and changing landscape to help refine the company overall strategy.
Work with commercial to design and implement both qualitative and quantitative primary and secondary research projects to deliver key strategic insights in support of forecasting, marketing imperatives and tactical plans.
Under the supervision of Head of BD and portfolio strategy, and work closely with commercial, finance, project lead, and R&D to develop and maintain long range forecast model and corporate valuation model, including detailed top line forecast for each approved product and indication, as well as late stage programs.
Under the supervision of head of BD and portfolio strategy, lead development of business cases to help Company investment decisions, including evaluation of NPV, PoS, ROI, and other portfolio metric.
Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in commercial, business intelligence and analytics, or related areas in drug development industry.
Prior experience in business development, BP&A, equity research, banking or consulting a plus
Advanced degree in science and/or MBA preferred
Prior experience in tackling complex problems with high performance problem solving capabilities.
Demonstrated success and significant experience in working with cross functional teams in a highly dynamic environment.
Superior communication and analytic skills.

Sufficient knowledge of oncology disease treatment landscape and competitive landscape
Excellent financial modeling and valuation skills.
