The Director, Forecasting & Analytics is a key leadership position within the Immunomedics commercial team. This person will be responsible for delivering insightful, well supported forecasts and analytics to the commercial team in order to support the success of sacituzumab govitecan across multiple indications. The successful candidate will contribute in-depth oncology forecasting expertise, work closely with internal stakeholders up to senior levels and external partners, with the capacity to manage multiple projects/deliverables in support of the business. This position offers an extraordinary opportunity for individuals interested in building a US commercial organization with immediate opportunities in breast cancer and future oncology indications with high unmet needs, while working with a cross-functional team rich in exceptional talent.

    Responsibilities

    • Leads regular meetings with the commercial leadership team to provide updates of in-line forecasts and sales analysis.
    • Participates on and often leads cross-functional teams whose members consist of marketing, sales, market research, sales operations, business development, manufacturing, and finance.
    • Partners with marketing, sales operations, market access and field sales to identify, analyze and interpret key market, competitive and promotional trends and their impact on current and future product opportunities and financial performance.
    • Partners with marketing to align on epidemiology and patient segmentation assumptions for current and future therapeutic areas.
    • Collaborates with finance and market access to share information for gross-to-net forecasts and other key financial assumptions.
    • Regular deliverables include latest estimates for the current quarter, 6-quarter analyses, budget, 5-year long-range plan and demand forecasts.
    • Brings strategic direction to the marketing team and drives innovation to find new forecasting approaches and techniques.
    • Leads analytic work streams including but not limited to copay forecasting, finance and tech ops deliverables and pricing & contracting strategy.
    • Leads tactical measurement analytics that drive decision making regarding marketing and field sales strategies and tactics including but not limited to sales deployment, various marketing campaigns and copay programs.
    • Financially assess business development opportunities in coordination with finance and business development.
    • Identify and recommend required primary and secondary data sources to leverage for forecasting and analytics.
    • Monitors, analyzes and assesses external product forecasts for Immunomedics and competitor products and indications
    • Oversee external contractor(s) responsible for collecting data for multiple secondary data audits, reporting, analysis and information management.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree required, MBA Finance preferred
    • 8-10 years of biotech/pharma industry experience, preferably in both small and large companies, with relevant experience in business analysis, forecasting, and analysis.
    • In-depth knowledge of forecasting techniques including patient level forecasts plus experience working with a variety of forecast models.
    • Experience in market access, business development and commercial analytics
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Leads by example, displaying integrity, collaboration, accessibility, adaptability, sound judgment/decision making, and an entrepreneurial, solutions-oriented attitude
    • Demonstrates responsiveness, attention to detail, and follow-through coupled with ability to prioritize/multi-task effectively
    • Use analytical/strategic skills to synthesize complex information, distill critical insights to inform brand strategy
    • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
    • Highly proficient in MS Office; skilled at using Powerpoint and Excel to interpret pharmaceutical product forecast models and quantitative analyses
    • Working knowledge and understanding of the Pharma industry, broad therapeutic areas/disease states, drugs/treatments, and related regulatory, commercialization and compliance requirements
